I was at burbank airport spotting today. There was a Southwest 737-700 and it was about to go on its take off roll. And on the runway that crosses a Jetblue A320 was landing on short final. The southwest after like 5 seconds enabled thrust reversers and spoilers. It barely was able to stopright next to the runway and the Jetblue landed. This was an accident ready to happen. What happened and why would the southwest get clearance to take off when there is another plane on the cross runway on short final. Whose fault ATC, southwest pilots? Where can i get more information on this. And after that the southwest plane stayed on the tarmac for like 30 minutes then returned to the gate and did not takeoff.
